A Tribute to Luella

Oh Luella...

Allow me to mourn for the fashion industry's loss. Our beloved British designer, Luella Bartley became the latest fashion victim of recession.

Luella announced last week that her label will cease trading as she has lost her financial backing. This is a real disappointment as Luella has progressed so well and she won the Designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards in 2008.

Luella's latest Spring 2010 collection. How lovely! I think it means we won't be able to get our hands on these collection *sob sob*

Luella is currently looking for new financial backer, hopefully (I do pray hard!) Luella can make a comeback.

We heart you forever, Luella!

New Fav: Stockings

Did a shoot for a magazine today, and I was wearing one of Ruffian's Fall 2009 collection. Absolutely love the sophisticated look and the black point d'esprit body stockings! I think it'd be nice for a romantic dinner :)

Comfort Clothing on the Runway

Whoever said khakis aren't fashionable must have not seen Chloe's Fall 20009 collection. This is one of my favourites! Love the femininity the frills create, and the suede shorts that's so comfy and practical for the weather. Don't we sometimes need fashion that's made for comfort and style?
