I'm a CoverDoll!

I made it to the front cover of Tongue in Chic's June Shopping Guide! :)

That's me in Betsey Johnson's shockingly colourful outfit and cute little round bag. And Justin Yap's shoes simply match perfectly! Talk about colour coordination.

I was shocked to see how huge human-size shoes are!

The Wedding Dress

I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it at Sarahseven's boutique! It's exactly how I would picture myself walking down the aisle in my wedding at a garden :)

Ivory silk and ruffles -- Nothing too fancy, simply pure and beautiful. And that's how love is supposed to be.

Confessions of a Shopaholic

Today is shopping day with S!

Tired of fitting into tight dresses for the shoots in the past few days, I opted for my trusty denim and a comfy black tank top, and wrapped my favourite leopard print scarf around the neck for a more dressed-up look. With my classic Givenchy carry-all and Marc Jacobs sunnies, I'm all ready to hit the town!
I ended up having sore toes shopping for hours in my Alexander McQueen heels. And needless to say, I lost track of how much I spent -- I do that (consciously) all the time :)

Me : I so need to shop! I haven't shopped for monthsss!
S  : I hear this from you all the time. And by the way it was just last weekend when you shopped.
Me : Last weekend? Hmm, can't recall. Must be one of those where I came home with nothing:)

Anyway, I got home with my hands full of shopping bags! New bag, new shoes, new dresses...Yay to my wardrobe!

It wasn't until I opened my credit card bill that I realised my last shopping spree with S was just 10 days ago, and it was just last weekend when I bought my new Marc Jacobs sunnies.

Was it just last weekend? If feels like a long long time ago...

I'm such a shopaholic I can do no denying.

Speaking of shopaholics, have you blocked your diaries to watch the Confessions of a Shopaholic? Better do so! S and I were just talking about it and we have 'booked' each other for that big day :)

And as I was catching up with fashion news, I found out that Tongue in Chic is giving away a Gucci tote bag (Yes, no kidding!) and free movie passes to watch the movie! All you need to do is to submit your very own shopaholic experience. I so hope I can be the lucky winner! :)

And don't forget, Plasterdoll's 'Buy Two Free One' March Madness Sale is still on!
10 more days left for you to get your favourite Plasterdoll prints so don't miss out!

Picnic Day

Recently, I have people asking what is my personal style, do I only wear designer pieces (thinking models get to take home what they wear for fashion shoots), and whether I can post some daily pictures of myself to see how I dress-up when I'm off work.

Hm that's actually a good idea! So today I decide to blog about something different and more personal :)

Today is picnic-day with my besties -- where we gather to gossip, enjoy a cup of tea and some home-baked muffins. I wore my floral bustier from Chloe Sevigney paired with Teresa eyelet skirt from dELiAs. The gigantic straw hat I bought from Topshop was simply perfect to hide my big wide face from the sun.
So back to the question on whether I only wear designer pieces? The answer is no. As much as I enjoy the splurge on designer wear, I do love high street fashion and flea markets.

Me enjoying a good cup of earl grey...

(These photos are now in my new album)

Fame and Celebrity

Remember
my granny look in one of my older shoots for Charles Anastase? This weekend I had another chance to model for his Spring Summer 2009 collection.

This time, I wore a tiny cropped leather jacket over his signature stiff tutu skirt with Victorian suspenders and stockings underneath.

Amazing how ballerina and rock chick look could actually blend so nicely!

By the way, I'm very excited to see my Fan Club growing! I start to wonder if I'm ready for the fame ;) But until people begin to recognise me in public and ask for autographs or photographs, I guess I still have plenty of time to learn to cope with celebrity fame!

Or I can always ask Fifi for some tips.
